Lusterville and Lobsters

A Collection of Travels, Musings, and Literature.

About

Orchids in Thailand

Welcome to my site of travels, thoughts, and love for literature.

A little about me:

I just received my masters from the University of Northern Iowa in English: Creative Writing, which explains my love for literature. Yes, I would love to have a book published and then a movie deal.ย Do I wish to be the next J.K. Rowling? Why yes, yes I do.

If you couldn’t tell, I love traveling. It started when I went to Ireland in 2010 with a class through school. Ever since, I’ve been bit by the travel bug. Once you go abroad, it’s impossible to stop.

Once the taste of travel was in my blood, it started with Ireland, the Bahamas, the Keys, Mexico, Chicago, San Antonio, Thailand, and who knows where to next. Of course, traveling would be dreadful without my faithful companions: a stack of books.

Adulthood sounds all right, but I’m more excited about that eight letter word: vacation. I’m ready for my next adventure in the world of adults, as well as in traveling.

Cheers,

Rachel

  3. Also speaking as someone who has an English degree & loves literature too, who wouldn’t want to be as successful of a writer as J.K. Rowling? I know I would too! I concur with you, 100% ๐Ÿ™‚
